Our non-Disney correspondent, Jonathen Liu, interviews the artist, Kenyon Bajus, who makes images that he calls “graphic satire.” Kind of like the one you see above. —The Citrus Report
TCR: Anything on your playlist that’s been getting the mojo going for you?
The last album I put on the playlist was El-P’s “Fantastic Damage”. I love that album. I like listening to it because it is still just as dope as when it first came out because it was still so different from everything else, and it was just him kind of doing it all himself after Co Flow, you know.
But most of the time I am lazy and don’t hunt for new music and just put on some Diplo and Z-Trip mixes. They always have a good selection of random tracks to keep me motivated drawing or cutting the lawn or whatever.
TCR: What’s something people might be surprised to know about you and your creative process?
I think I come up with my best ideas while dropping a deuce. It must all come together at that moment and I just have to hope I have a pen handy to write it down or sketch it out. And I’m not into finger-painting.
