Wow, Casey Affleck admitted that this stupid f**king idea for a movie, “I’m Still Here,” was all performance art, and that Joaquin Phoenix spent two years of his life in a “character” that is supposed to be a drug-fueled, low-life hip-hop artist was a spoof. Really? Wow, an actor playing a role pretending its a not a role but its really a role and you aren’t supposed to know its a role but its a role guys, its really just a role.
Last time we checked, Joaquin Phoenix was an actor, so anyone who thinks this is impressive, or interesting, needs to understand that this was someone doing their job. And he is really f**king famous, so its even more corny. Oh the movie is “about the disintegration of celebrity.” Write a real script. That takes talent.
